Who is the owner of this application?

The official functionality owner is ICT (Islamabad Capital Territory) and technology owners is National Information Technology Board. Both worked in partnership with Islamabad Police, Excise & Taxation, Capital Development Authority (CDA) / MCI (Metropolitan Corporation Islamabad) and e-Sahulat. The app is officially developed and managed by the National Information Technology Board (NITB), commissioned by the Ministry of Information technology & Telecom (MoITT).

What data is collected by the app?

The app offer several services to the users including domicile, IDP, arms license, marriage certification, e-police service, excise and taxation, and e-NADRA services. For a better user experience, the app may require you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information including the Full Name, the CNIC, Gender, Date of Birth, Qualification, Occupation, Address, and Contact Numbers. The private data of citizens is kept completely confidential and is not accessible to any third party organization. The City Islamabad app does not collect any data to abuse users.

What is the legal basis for this data

The Government of Pakistan under the provisions and laws of the country can hold the information provided by the citizen. The information of the citizens is specifically used for providing them several services offered by the app. 

For which specific purpose the data is collected?

learning more about users, the app performs functions to facilitate the users to register and avail random services or provide the required information they need. The data of citizens is collected for the purpose of maintaining their records in the database that allows them to finish the registration process. Citizens can submit forms to complete the verification and registration process. The City Islamabad App owners are authorized to view the data and a share it with the concerned authorities if required. 

Which third parties will have the access to the data collected?

The personal data of the citizens will not be used or shared with any third party organization except as described in this Privacy Policy. The app does not have any external widgets to reveal the data to outsiders. 

What are the rights of the users?

The Personal Information that collect is used for providing and improving the Service. The users have all the rights to view their data or information. Some data is compulsory and some is optional which users can erase. 

• The users must also refrain from doing what is prohibited and are advised to reach the customer support for any concerns.
•  City Islamabad App owners retains the rights to delete or terminate any users. 
• The citizens has the right to avail one or all the features / benefits provided by the app.
• The uses are also restricted from any unwanted and undesirable behavior or activity on the mobile app no matter chow small it is.
