Who is the owner of this application?

The official functionality owner is Ministry of Information Technology and Telecom (MoITT) and technology owner is National Information Technology Board (NITB). Services offered by public sectors under their relevant administrative structure are integrated in said platform.

What data is collected by the app?

The Digital Pakistan Mobile Application offers multiple services to the citizens of Pakistan which are offered by Public sector organizations of Pakistan. For a better user experience, the app may require you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information including the Full Name, the CNIC, Gender, Date of Birth, Qualification, Occupation, Address, and Contact Numbers. The private data of citizens is kept completely confidential and is not accessible to any third party organization. The Digital Pakistan Mobile Application does not collect any data to abuse users.

What is the legal basis for this data

The Government of Pakistan under the provisions and laws of the State can hold required information provided by the citizen. The information of the citizens is specifically used for providing them several services offered by the Relevant department.

For which specific purpose the data is collected?

Digital Pakistan Mobile Application performs functions to facilitate the users to register and avail random services or provide the required information they need. The data of citizens is collected for the purpose of maintaining their records in the database that allows them to finish the registration process. Citizens can submit forms to complete the verification and registration process. The Digital Pakistan Mobile Application owners are authorized to view the data and share it with the concerned authorities if required.

Which third parties will have the access to the data collected?

The personal data of the citizens will not be used or shared with any third party organization except as described in this Privacy Policy. The app does not have any external widgets to reveal the data to outsiders.
